Weapons and Prop Rules

Props can be carried around Cosplay City Championship, as long as they are no longer than 1.5m, made from a lightweight material and have all sharp edges rounded off. No metal weapons of any kind will be allowed.

Props can be carried around the event, as long as they are no longer than 1.5m, made from a lightweight material and have all sharp edges rounded off. Any blade replicas, as well as props which are larger / heavier than this, can be used on stage but must be stored at the Cosplay Desk until the time of your performance.

No metal weapons of any kind will be allowed into the event.
No airsoft or RIFs guns allowed at all.
Any toy gun props must have the orange/red tip visible
Any bow weapons must be unstrung, or strung lightly enough that they will not be able to fire.

Please be sensible when transporting your weapon or prop to the event. Keep it hidden at all times until you are in the convention centre – completely hidden and away in a bag.

Be sensible with your props whilst at the con – no hitting anyone or leaving them lying around as trip hazards.
