About

Rai-Con is an anime convention taking place in Glasgow (Scotland) on the 15 of October 2016 and is being brought to you by our team here at Attic Events, in partnership with and a few exceptional friends and colleagues within the Glasgow anime and convention community.

With a dwindling number of purely anime and manga related events taking place within Scotland, we felt it was time to try and reinvigorate the Scottish anime scene and breathe new life into the community by bringing you a new and exciting convention, celebrating our passion for anime and manga, right in the heart of Glasgow!

Rai-con Spring (our first event) 12 March 2016, was a one day event with an attendance of 1850 people.

Rai Con Winter will also be a one day event based in the beautiful surroundings of the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall (at the junction of Buchanan Street and Sauchiehall Street). This one day anime extravaganza will pack as much anime and manga related fun into one event as humanly possible; with a wide variety of events, panels, tournaments etc and culminating in our awesome, ‘not-to-be-missed’ Rai-Con After Party.

Future Dates for your Diaries.

Rai Con Winter – Glasgow – 15 October 2016
Rai Con Spring – Glasgow – 4 March 2017
Rai Con Winter – Glasgow – 1 October 2017

    • Hiya, 1 adult per 4 children (under 16) is recommended in the building/vicinity. (Theres a cafe on site, and lots of places to sit, if the adult wants a place to hide for a while 😉
